The French non-profit organization GETCOP (Group for the Evaluation of Personalized Complementary Therapies and Innovative Practices) recently organized a series of lectures aimed at the general public on various methods and practices forming part of complementary medicine, a field recognized and valued by integrative health professionals. The lectures were given by a practitioner, based on expertise and contemporary scientific data, and delivered in a language accessible to all. At the request of the Lorraine Academy of Sciences in Nancy, a third lecture was organized to complement the first two. The initiative’s success calls for further efforts in this direction for the future of integrative healthcare.
