The first edition of the “Ikaïros Festival for Meaningful Medicine,” held on May 17 and 18, 2024, in Montpellier, aimed to reinvent integrative care in response to the suffering and loss of meaning experienced by medical students. The two-day festival included an academic symposium and practical workshops. The symposium addressed three main themes: the suffering of caregivers, embodied practices, and the ecology of care. Organized by the Ikaïros association, the event brought together professionals, researchers, and students to promote holistic and human-centered practices for future doctors, and to enhance the well-being of caregivers and patients.
