For a clarification of the role of health professionals: Advocating for the title of “Health Practitioner”
The development of unconventional health practices in France raises many questions, particularly regarding the safety of patients. Today, 71 percent of French people use these practices. Other European countries have legalized some of them and taken steps to make them safe. The proposal to create a health practitioner title, validated by a certificate of competence, would guarantee patient safety. It would allow health practitioners to communicate effectively with medical professionals, improving the coordination of care and cooperation between different sectors. Integrating this title into the French legal framework could strengthen the regulation of integrative health practices in France, allowing it to align with other European countries.
