GETCOP conferences for all: Healing the body with fascia
		By Nadine Quéré, Bernard Payrau

English
The conference aimed to inform the public about fascia, connective tissues essential for body structure and function. Nadine Quéré shared her journey from physiotherapy to fasciatherapy and explained how this method helps to perceive and regulate the internal movement of fascia, thus improving overall health. The authors of this written version have added additional information they felt would be useful, which they were unable to include in an oral presentation.
Quéré described scientific discoveries about fascia, including its role in connecting different parts of the body and its ability to record trauma. Fasciatherapy, using the Danis Bois method®, employs a specific touching technique to relieve tension and improve mobility. Quéré also emphasized the importance of Gymnastique Sensorielle®, which harmonizes fascial tissues through slow, deliberate movements.
The conference highlighted the benefits of fasciatherapy, particularly in the management of stress and chronic pain, and encouraged an integrative approach to health. Quéré concluded by stressing the importance of bodily regulation and regeneration, as well as the role of body awareness in care and movement.
