Review of the first congress of the French Society of Integrative Oncology

The first congress of the Société Française d’Oncologie Intégrative (SFOI) (French Society of Integrative Oncology) was held on November 8, 2024. Bringing together doctors, researchers, experts, practitioners of complementary therapies, patients, and health associations, the event gathered well over a hundred participants to discuss integrative medicine and health, with a focus on oncology. This article provides an overview of integrative oncology in France, which is part of an international framework, and of the work of the SFOI, as well as a summary of the ideas presented at the various roundtables held throughout the day. This overview reflects its authors’ vision and experiences of the day.
