Reflexology, derived from ethnomedicines, is a manual practice used as a complement to conventional approaches. Considered a non-pharmacological intervention (NPI), the positive effects of reflexology are being increasingly documented in scientific literature. Its use is steadily growing, particularly in the field of integrative health, where it can contribute to improving health and quality of life. At the very least, it plays a supportive role that has no undesirable effects. Since 2020, a "think and do tank" dedicated to the evaluation of reflexology has been conducting a participatory reflection process. Known as the Reflexology Evaluation Group (GER), it explores various courses of action aimed at better understanding the mechanisms of this practice, enhancing scientific knowledge, and supporting research in this field.

It works to bring together reflexology practitioners and stakeholders, focusing on research, and aims to foster clear and constructive dialogue between academic experts and those with practical experience, based on common objectives. Its ambition is to facilitate the study of this practice while providing transparency, visibility, and knowledge about reflexology, helping to establish its place within the ecosystem of integrative and sustainable health. This article provides an overview of the activities and initiatives led by this collective.
